Hunting Migrant Birds

Many hunters say hunting migrant birds isn't the easiest. Those big birds such as geese and duck don't come down easily. And with the limit of only three shells in the shotgun makes it even more challenging. Many suggest that the allow for more shells allowed in the shotgun to hunt migrant birds. But others say it would be against fair chase and also the ethics of hunting. Animals have to have a fair chance to get away from the hunter just and with only three shells in the shotgun it helps give them fair chase. Also, the ethics for hunting you shouldn't just try to kill every animal you come against. Many say in the ethics if you can't the birds within three shells you should shot at it again. This ethic was also taught to me in hunter education.
Many people still rather have more shells in their shotgun so they usually take out their plugs in their shotgun. The plugs of a shotgun help limit the gun to only take 2 in the magazine tube and one in the chamber. But this make the gun illegal to use to hunt migrant birds and it comes with a fine if caught by a Game Warden. I have also heard of people having one shell in their hand and once they are out off shells in the gun they put it in quickly which this is legal but not ethical. It all comes down to ethics so I don't think having more shells in the shotgun should be allowed.
